Creative Writing 

​I earned my master's degree in science writing from the Johns Hopkins University in 2024 (considered a specialized creative nonfiction degree). I've published personal essay in a few places, including in Full Grown People and as the collection ANXIETY: A Personal History." ​Years back, I won Fade In magazine's screenwriting contest (family drama category) and placed in two others, landing industry reads from Lion's Gate and Closest to the Hole Productions, among others. ​I have written and published poetry -- some of it good -- in Mudfish and other places. There may also be some local cache in that I won a flash fiction writing contest at WriterHouse after arriving in Charlottesville.

Currently, I have a few fiction and screenplay projects I'm working on, among them: "Terrorize U.," "A Boy & His Dog & Rabies," "Fruitcake" and "The Acceptance of Gregory Swanson."
